Frequently asked questions.

Course dates, fees, certificates, eligibility and what to bring — the questions nurses, doctors and paramedics ask us most.

01 Who can attend BLS and ACLS?

BLS is open to all healthcare providers — physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, respiratory therapists, and medical or nursing students in training. ACLS is for providers who direct or take part in resuscitation, such as doctors, nurses and paramedics working in emergency, ICU or critical care.

02 How long does each course take?

BLS is an 8-hour, one-day course. ACLS and PALS are 16 hours each, run over two days. Heartsaver First Aid is a one-day course.

03 How long is the certificate valid?

BLS, ACLS and PALS provider course completion cards are valid for 2 years. We recommend renewing before the card expires so your skills stay current.

04 How am I assessed?

Every provider course ends with a written exam and a practical skills test on manikins. Your instructors coach you through the skills stations before the test.

05 Is the simulation lab really free?

Yes. Our simulation lab is free for all healthcare professionals — come back before shifts, before exams, or whenever you want more practice.

06 Do you run batches for hospital teams?

Yes. We run group batches for hospital and institutional teams. Request a call-back and we will plan the dates with you.

07 Where is the training centre?

Kumar's Centre, near Gandhinagar Traffic Signal, Kottayam, Kerala 686016 — close to Kottayam Medical College.
